Box Score BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The 2017 men's basketball Battle of the Bluefields at Ned Shott Gymnasium on the Bluefield State campus, saw the Bluefield College Rams take charge in the second half and claim the victory. In a game with 23 lead changes five Rams scored in double figures as BC claimed city bragging rights.

·         Bluefield State dominated early after building a 7-2 lead.
·         The Rams tied the game at 28 and took its first lead on a pair of three throws by Ty'Quon Reid with just under five minutes to play in the first half.

·         Bluefield took command in the second half and got its biggest lead with just over 90 seconds left in the contest.
