Women's XC second at Concord Invitational, Marshall fifth individually

ATHENS, W.Va. - The Bluefield College women's cross country team ran to a second place finish, beating NCAA Division II West Liberty, Bluefield State, and West Virginia State. Anisha Marshall placed fifth with a 5K time of 21:15. Jordyn O'Saben finished 11th with a time of 22:33, Katelynne Cuddy 12th with a time of 22:53 and  Olivia Thompson 27th with a time of 28:17.  Maddie Thompson came in 29th with a time of 29:08, Nicole Hamby 32nd with a 33:14, and Nicole Benedito was 34th with a time of 34:31.
Coach Kendall Haynes said, "I am very happy with the outcome today. The girls have really been working hard and today we placed the best as team, then we have all year placeing second."
