Rams win fifth straight, top Union 17-7 on Senior Night

BLUEFIELD – The win streak now stands at five. The Bluefield College Rams ran past the Union College Bulldogs 17-7 on a rainy Senior Night at Mitchell Stadium to improve to 6-3 on the season and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference Appalachian Division.

NEWS & NOTES
·         The Rams visit Reinhardt, Nov. 4 with first place in the Appalachian Division of the Mid-South Conference on the line. The Eagles are currently ranked No. 3 in NAIA and are 4-0 in the MSC Appalachian Division, the same record as Bluefield.
·         Defense has been the key in Bluefield's five-game winning streak. The Rams held Union to 95 yards rushing and 144 in the air – 80 of those in the air coming on Union's lone score of the game.
