Box Score BLUEFIELD - Cordaris Townes scored 27 points, pulled down 15 rebounds and blocked four shots to help lead the Bluefield College Rams to a 73-69 AAC win, Saturday night at the Dome Gymnasium.
Early on it appeared it would be all Bryan as the Lions opened an early 16 point lead. The Rams battled back and at half the Lions were up by a point 36-35.
The second half proved to be exciting as the teams battled back and forth with several ties and lead exchanges. Bluefield took the lead for good late thanks to a pair of threes by Isiah Gill. Gill finished the night with 17 points, on five treys.
Bryan's Wray Fuller led his team with 27 points and Tyler Yoder added 11.
Bluefield (6-8, 3-1 AAC) travels to Milligan on Thursday for a conference matchup. Bryan is now 1-10 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
