Jose Perez is the Appalachian Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week. Perez, a senior from San Juan, Puerto Rico, was 16-for-24 in five games this past week for the Rams with 10 RBIs. The left-handed hitting second baseman has a season batting average of .525, which is currently second nationally in the NAIA. He is first in the NAIA in hits per game (2.038), sixth in triples per game (.192), seventh in runs scored per game (1.385), and ninth in total triples (5).
