Bluefield College softball player Brienna Sparks is the latest Appalachian Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. Sparks, a senior from Tazewell, Va., pitched in all four BC games last week and earned three wins. For the week Sparks pitched 13 innings, allowed six hits, one run and struck out 15 batters. For the season Sparks has a 5-0 record for the Rams and has a 0.45 ERA.
