Zac Russell-Myers had a stellar February at the plate and on the mound to help the Rams to a hot start this spring.
For the month of February, BC posted a 9-1 record. Russell-Myers went 13-for-37 (.405) at the plate, scoring 13 runs and tallying 15 RBI. The senior had a pair of homeruns and six doubles.
Making three starts on the mound, the Advance, N.C., native posted a 3-0 record with an ERA of 0.53. He kicked off BC's Mid-South Conference slate with a complete-game shutout at University of the Cumberlands.
Russell-Myers earned NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honors twice, once as a field player and once as a pitcher. He also earned Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week honors for his performance at Cumberlands.
